YIPANG proudly announces the launch of its next-generation YP-X Intraoral Scanner, expanding its portfolio of advanced digital dentistry solutions. Integrating high-speed scanning, exceptional accuracy, an open digital workflow, and AI-powered clinical applications, the YP-X is designed to provide dental clinics, laboratories, and digital dental centers with a faster, smarter, and more efficient digital impression solution.
Powered by an advanced laser optical imaging system, the YP-X delivers scanning speeds of up to 30 FPS, completing a half-arch scan in less than 20 seconds. Its upgraded optical engine and 28 mm scanning depth enable highly accurate data capture even in complex implant, restorative, and orthodontic cases. With a single-tooth accuracy of less than 7 μm, the scanner provides dependable digital data for CAD/CAM restorations and treatment planning.
Designed for maximum comfort, the scanner weighs only 170 g and features an ergonomic pen-grip design that minimizes operator fatigue during extended clinical use. Both adult and pediatric scanning tips are available, and each tip is fully autoclavable at 134°C for up to 150 sterilization cycles, meeting modern infection-control standards.
Built on a fully open architecture, the YP-X supports STL, PLY, and OBJ file formats, allowing seamless integration with mainstream CAD/CAM software and digital workflows. It is suitable for a wide range of clinical applications, including implantology, prosthodontics, orthodontics, removable dentures, and comprehensive digital dentistry.
Beyond its outstanding hardware performance, the YP-X is powered by an advanced AI-driven digital platform that brings intelligent automation into every stage of the clinical workflow. The integrated AI Orthodontic Simulator enables clinicians to visualize predicted tooth movement and compare treatment outcomes, helping optimize treatment planning while improving patient understanding and acceptance.
The platform also incorporates a comprehensive suite of intelligent tools, including AI Oral Health Analysis, Automatic Model Builder, Undercut Analysis, Occlusion Analysis, 2D Section Measurement, and Smart Filter technology. By automatically removing unnecessary scan data such as lips, tongue, gloves, and soft tissue, the software rapidly generates highly accurate digital models and intuitive oral health reports, helping clinicians identify potential oral conditions, improve diagnostic efficiency, and strengthen communication with patients.
